They were my 4th great-grandparents.
Note: They died the same day, in different locations, death records confirm this.

What a beautiful gate at this cemetery! I love it!
I cannot imagine the shock to the family to have both mother and father die on the same day in different locales. Great photos of both the stone and the gate. Agree with Heather, that is one beautiful gate!
Thanks ladies. Guess I never thought much about the gate, but now I see, it really is lovely. I am now prompted to do more research of these two. The hus. is listed in 1870 as a pauper!
If I'm doing the math right (always difficult for me w/o a calculator) they were 88 and 90. I've seen several here in that age range die within days or weeks of their spouse. One family here, the mother died, and before the funeral, the father did also. Talk about tough. Wouldn't you like to know the story about these two Wrigts!
