My blog has been changed to make it more appealing for those who have New England ancestors and want to see the area through photos. Things I’ll include are typical white New England churches, libraries showing their genealogical collection, historical societies, cemeteries, war memorials, in general, anything to do with history.

For four years I’ve blogged mostly about my personal genealogy in New England (Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire), New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. I still will, can’t forget my own roots.

Peter Rosenberger was living in New York state and became a Loyalist at the time of the American Revolutionary War. He, his wife and four children are all buried in Missisquoi Co., Quebec, Canada.

These photos were taken this same week of 1999.  During this trip, I located 22 of my direct ancestor's tombstones.

On April 4, 2013, I received a complete listing of all those buried at Ploss Cemetery (I had used this booklet during my visit in 1999 to the Missisquoi Historical Society), and I'm delighted it is now online. The link:
