This will be my last Looking Back post. I feel it has run it's course, and there isn't any need to wait until the last day of the month to post the blog. However, all previous photos of Historical Societies may consolidated into their own category. I believe I have 11 other photos, and there are more to take.

Barbara, you must have visited Londonderry recently because we just had the carved sign restored and repainted. It was designed by the sculptor Patricia Varrani, who done many local statues, bas-reliefs, and a coin! It looks great in your photo!
All these photos were taken in May. Too bad the building was closed when I went.
It will be open on Old Home Day 20 August 2011. I'll be there running the weaving loom again, and there will be a revolutionary war encampment in the orchard behind the museum. Otherwise, it's appointment only. If you want documents, etc., they are in the history room at the public library down the street.
