Tombstone Tuesday -- LILLEY -- Lowell, Massachusetts

I saw the back first, and wondered why there was this unusual
outline on it. So, I walked around to the front...

In order to view it, it had to be lightened quite a bit. Flowers probably left over from Easter.
From the 1880 census, I learned that Charles Lillie was born in New Hampshire as were his parents. He was a machinist. His wife was born in Canada. Sons, Charles and Alfred both born in Massachusetts and worked as clerks in a mill.
